Marleane is a licensed real estate broker and property manager. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors. Marleane is also a dealer for Manufactured Housing, which enables her to sell homes that are not real property. She has been a resident of Carson Valley since 1981, with her real estate career beginning in 1987. In January 1997 after ten years of real estate experience, Marleane founded M. Scott Properties, Inc. A full-service real estate company offering both property management and real estate sales.

Marleane has the philosophy of never losing sight of her clients’ needs. She has a proven record of combined efforts and energy, accomplishing the aimed goal and the end result of “a satisfied client”.

Marleane has two children who attended Douglas County schools and have remained in the community. Her daughter Lori is also a real estate broker, and her son Frank is a practicing dentist. She feels fortunate that her children also love and appreciate the quality living that Carson Valley offers.

Marleane’s husband since 1986, John Scott, is our local State Farm insurance agent. His magnetic personality and friendliness, along with his professional and efficient team has offered quality service to his clients for over 40 years.
